Connemara Drive

Grzegorz

Did I forget how to use the camera? well almost :) It’s been so busy recently that our photography suffered severely. So yesterday was the first day after a while when we went for a spin to Connemara and took some photos. That as well gave us some opportunity to test Photoshop CS4 and Lightroom 3.
Anyway we have few ideas for this year when it comes to photography; you can call it projects if you want. One of them will require a short visit to Doolin, which has been on my mind for a while now so once it is a bit warmer and days little longer we’ll be there. So here is few shots from yesterday.

Aran Islands Revisited

Grzegorz

The heat wave was coming and we all knew about it! Can’t miss that since it doesn’t happen too often in Ireland. So the only problem was where to go, which was quickly cleared by guys from Dublin: direction Aran Islands. That’s when the bell rang in my head, wait a minute we could go climbing and take some photos, something that has been on my mind for a while now. So we packed almost all the photographic gear and hit the road on Saturday morning to make it for the early ferry. Jeez, I only realized how heavy the gear is once I started cycling with it around the island, add tripod to it and there you are, a cycling camel. To make things worse I realized when doing my set up for an evening session on the big roof that I had no hotshoe with me for connecting SB900 to Enlichrome. Now try to combat sunset with one Vivitar flash, good luck! With luck or without it, we actually got some nice shots that evening. One of them you can see below. Great weekend that was!

Quick Update “Canada Trip”

Grzegorz

So here we are again, just recently came back from our 3 week climbing holiday in Canada. We had great time: plenty of climbing, traveling around and, of course, family visiting. We even ended up in Squamish for a day, however, the weather was not looking encouraging for coming week so we moved down to Skaha where climbing turned to be very good and weather excellent. Summarizing the trip we managed to climb in variety of rock, see a whole bunch of places and have great time with our family and friends. Here are few photos from our trip, enjoy it.
